THE OUTDOOR KITCHEN, VEGETABLE GARDEN AND ORCHARD

This space, already defined within a laurel hedge, has been regenerated into an outdoor kitchen. A "room" apart from the rest of the garden, but directly connected to the vegetable garden and orchard, the kitchen area is equipped with a large teak platform, a masonry kitchen with BBQ, gas stove, refrigerator and underneath cabinets; a wooden roofed pergola and a large dining table. A stone gravel path leads to the vegetable garden designed with large corten steel square pots, cm.140x140x45 h, for growing vegetables and circular 120cm diam. corten steel pots for growing cutting flowers. The orchard, on the sides of the vegetable garden is planted entirely with trees of ancient varieties of central Italy such as apples, pears, plums, apricots and almonds today mostly unknown. A 30m long wooden pergola provides support for tomatoes, vines, climbing roses and jasmine.
