Western Avenue Residence
The homeowner in this center colonial has a clear style and requested assistance on furnishings and finishing work.
The newly renovated basement required comfortable but coordinated furniture, including a small sectional and a larger supportive arm chair. The subtle beige and taupe hues allowed for a flexible playful and relaxing space.
The access from the main house and foyer to the basement cut through a transient space perfect for a home office. By installing a large light fixture and selecting a custom cut area rug, the space became immediately grounded. This allowed for the elegant red valance with roman window shade. The matching white finish furniture is clean and tidy.
Upstairs, the palette for the girl's bedroom is hot pink and apple green. These bold colors work well both on the walls and in the beautifully orchestrated curtain panels.
